Jinxuan (Milk Oolong or Golden Lily) Oolong (金萱烏龍) is a hybrid cultivar created in the 1980s from crossing the parental cultivars of Ying Zhi Hong Xin (Hard Twig Red Heart) and Tainong #18. In Taiwan, it is commonly known as #27, named after its experimental code #2027 given by the Taiwanese Tea Research and Extension Station (TRES).
Our Jinxuan Oolong is grown at an elevation of 800-1,200 meters, which makes its flavour different from most typical Milk Oolongs that are grown at lower elevations around 600 meters. We also do not add any milk powder additives, so that it carries a subtle hint of milkiness along with floral aromas of orchids.
**Also see 60g Tea Trio Set.
*All of our teas are produced and processed from our own tea-making facilities in Nantou, Taiwan.
*Feel free to refer to our brewing guide, storage tips and learn the craftsmanship of our tea-making process.
