Shanlinxi High Mountain Oolong 50g

from $20.00

Harvest / Spring, Winter 2024

Cultivar / Qing Xin

Oxidation / 15-20%

Roasting / 0%

Caffeine / Low

Notes / Light, fir, vegetal

Shanlinxi (Fir Forest Creek) Oolong (杉林溪烏龍)is cultivated in the forest-clad mountain range in Zhushan Township of Nantou County, at a high altitude between 1,600-1,800 meters. The bountiful natural beauty of Chinese fir, hemlock and bamboo trees blanket the area in green, cooling down the entire mountainous region with an average temperature of 20°C all year long. With a cool average temperature away from pollutants, our teas experience slower growth and metabolism, thereby retaining a higher percentage of flavour and aromatic compounds.

Our Shanlinxi Oolong carries accents of sweet vegetables and scents of fir and bamboo, as if you are walking through the fresh green fir forests yourself.

**Also see 60g Mist Tea Series.

*All of our teas are produced and processed from our own tea-making facilities in Nantou, Taiwan.

*Feel free to refer to our brewing guide, storage tips and learn the craftsmanship of our tea-making process.
